2. And where's the award for the late Wesley Willis?
Surely they could have honored his memory with a tribute to some of his songs, like "Cut the Mullet" and "Suck My Dog's Dick."

11. I love his musical joyrides, as he called them.
Crazy, crude... but wonderful in their craziness and crudeness.

3. K-Tel? Kid Bop?
I's done been got old. I never heard of nobody.
The Grammys so far on the West Coast is unadulterated
crapola with a cigarette butt on top. Was it this bad
in the Sixties? I don't remember. The only good part
was Jennifer Lopez walking away in a backless dress. I
guess the show's only half over so it could get worse.

4. The Grammys have always been a bit odd.
Edited on Mon Feb-14-05 12:35 AM by elperromagico
"Up Up and Away" won song of the year in '67. The year of Sgt. Pepper, "Light My Fire," and a few dozen other classics, for God's sake.

"Up Up and Away" is a decent song, but song of the year?

No.

And let's not forget some of the Best New Artist winners of the past: Starland Vocal Band, America, Milli Vanilli...

13. Even John Mayer thinks the Grammy's are a joke
after winning best song. It's so totally pop crap. He gave interview that his music was just a pop formula...he's actually a gifted musician...anyone see him on Eric Clapton's guitar festival?

14. I saw that!
Even he can see the absurdity of the Grammy's.

Jesus. I swear. If Borah Jones wins one more award for her non-existent talent, I'm gonna hurl.
