You know the feelin the night before you KNOW you're getting sick?
You know, where you can feel it building and you just know tomorrow morning is going to be hell. Well I'm right there. I'm starting to get that icky feeling in my head and my body is starting to ache. Ugh, I really hate this feeling and I don't wanna go through it tomorrow. I hate waking up feeling like crap. :(

4. Me too, skittles.
I don't know if you have ever used Cold-Eeze, but that seems to help me. It only works if I take one right at the scratchy stage.

I know it minimizes my colds. It seems to help the flu a little bit, too.

Just a thought. I hate that feeling too.

3. Mine always starts with dry, scratchy nasal/sinus passages
And within 36 hours, it blows up to a full cold.

Luckily, I can tell when this happens, so I can take some Zicam beforehand.

5. Send someone out to get Zycam for you right now
I know I sould like a commercial, but the stuff really does work. It'll short the time and lessen the severity of your cold/ flu/ whatever. But you have to start taking it right now, right when you're starting to feel sick.

12. I remember two occasions where I used it
And it completely averted the upcoming cold. I'm serious. I had the first signs of it, used the Zicam, and it just disappeared.

It's almost like a cure.

6. I got sick on Friday, stayed sick till a few hours ago.
It might have been the flu, but it might have been salmonella. I ate some suspicious deli-chicken noodle dish, and after getting sick one day, ate the same stuff the next day and got sick all over again.

So I don't know if it was double salmonella, or the flu. I get this salmonella about once a year, so I really don't know what ailment I actually had.

It was terrible, I'd start hiccuping, then sneezing, then puking, sweating, and diarrhea. Then a re-run the next day. Whatever it was, I know I won't be visiting the supermarket with that suspicious deli food ever again.

7. I'm there now myself, only it started last Monday
thought I might bag Thurs, since we're off every other Friday. But then my boss told me his boss was in from Denver Wed and Thurs, and she picked me for this 2 day project - I don't know how I got thru it with presentations an' all. Friday I saw the doc for a full blown sinus infection (ears too) - now the antibiotics have my stomach in an uproar, and the altex has my sinuses completley stopped up (did I mention the insomnia). I don't do drugs well. Gotta get a new doc.

Stay home Sean.

10. Local schools having record absentee rates around here...
One school had to shut down for 2 days to rid the school of the flu cooties...not enough kids/teachers to keep the place open.
Think I caught a mini-stomach flu..the kind where you wish you WOULD throw up just to make your stomach feel better!
