Confess: your weird crushes.
I had a crush on my Science teacher when I was 16 who was a double for Rick Astley.

But let's not get into my scientist fetish today.

1. My weird crushes involve heavy-set balding men.
James Gandolfini, Dennis Franz, and yes, even Roger Ebert (about 20 years ago - completely inexplicable to me, then and now)!

He was a lot thinner and better looking back then (he's only about 40-42 now).

16. My Brother in Law, though I may have just been acting out or killing time
I think I developed a bit of a crush on my brother in law - older than me, heavyset, suburban dad type - just to kill time at family gatherings, or just to rebel against them quietly.

Then I realized he was a former wrestler and football player in his school days, and was good looking in his own bearish way. And then I REALLY had a crush!

Plus by 7th grade Math teacher, who looked a little like Alan Alda. But then we realized he was having an affair with our English teacher - and there's nothing 7th grade girls enjoy more than the vicarious thrill of watching teachers sneak around, thinking the students aren't on to them.

88. You're creeping me out, Lynne!
My mother is obsessed with him. The fan club, the concerts, the whole nine yards. I have been "forced" to see him about 6 times! He is usually playing at local casino's and my mom doesn't like to drive by herself, so she pays for the room and the ticket. Once in a while, if there's a concert close to her birthday, I take HER.
I have actually had to decorate this man's dressingroom!
He's a so-so singer, but his fans are a riot. So enthusiastic.
And yes, I have pictures of myself and my mother and my BABY with him.
(A funny story in and of itself) She made me drive her to the airport to meet his plane once. This was during one of his paternity suit periods, and I swear to god, when he saw me with my 3 month-old, he didn't want to come down the walkway! Hilarious!
Oh well, anything for Mom...

Well, not on your eighth grade U.S. History teacher, but on mine. I had her for both English and History. The only class I've ever been in where I tried to be a suck-up and teacher's pet 'cause I thought the teacher was so cool. I also detected a definite air of liberalism from her; though she had to keep it kinda in check considering where she lived.

59. Not that weird, but kinda obscure
Growing up, I had a major crush on Danica McKellar, who played Winnie Cooper on The Wonder Years. I was thinking about her again 'cause my dad recently got the episodes of the show on DVD off of Ebay so have been watching a few.

Googled her and she's still a cutie:

Real-life crushes my oddest is probably my last big one. She was adorable (always feel like a dork using that word, but she about defined it); light brown hair, big brown eyes, curvaceous, slightly big teeth. Also, one of the nicest, funniest, and most considerate girls I've ever met; took a couple college classes with her and we hung out and studied together a lot. Problems: she was (still is) engaged (obviously the biggest problem!) and was a religious fundamentalist (not a major problem for me, but my agnosticism tends to be a problem to them...) and a Republican; boggled my mind how such a sweetie could be a Republican. Still haven't figured that out...

68. I'm forever falling in love with...
...fictional characters. Live-action, animated, literary - I've run the spectrum. While on the one hand it's hell to be in lust with someone who doesn't exist, they're also so much less trouble than the alternative. ;)

69. Tracee Ellis Ross
of UPN's "Girlfriends" fame.

I know she has a big nose. I know she has bug-eyes. But I can't help but think she's incredibly hot. <----weird

75. My sixth grade Social Studies teacher,
my US History professor in college (I'd sit in the front row right in front of him with a miniskirt on. I was VERY bad in those days).

My little brother's best friend (he was 15 and I was 17 so it wasn't as bad as it sounds).

Can't think of any others.

Oh the guy who delivered my daughter. Ick. What a weird feeling. He was hotter than hell and sewing me up. WEIRDNESS.
