I have to share what a wonderful husband I have with DU.
We celebrated Valentine's day over the weekend by going out & exchanging cards. But the nicest thing he did was not a gift for me.
On Friday night I took out a friend who has had a crappy year and a half. Her mother & sister passed away, a long term relationship ended & she has been having a bad time at her job.
Well my sweet husband met us for drinks and he walked in with a red rose for me & a yellow rose for my friend. He handed her the rose with a hug & a kiss on the cheek & told her what a wonderful person she is. I could tell how much it meant to her & I was so proud to have such a thoughtful husband.

4. Now there's a man who's a MAN...
... no doubt he is that way because you appreciate him.

The power went out during a terrible ice storm over Christmas. To say I was very rattled would be an understatement: our presents weren't even wrapped -- yet we had to abandon our sub-freezing house and stay with relatives. I didn't feel much like eating, but my husband heated up some soup and brought it to me.

I found out that day that one way you know you're with the right person is if the canned soup tastes better when HE makes it! :loveya:
