Poll question: So, my GF calls in an apologetic panic from the vet's office.

She'd spent her paycheck, so I gave her a blank check for the vet visit, see? Well, seems the dog needed his shots. Duh. That's why I gave her a blank check instead of one made out for the amount of the checkup + the nail clipping. So it ended up being about $70 more than the bill would have been without the boosters.

Here's the question: Why in the hell did she apologize for spending the money for the shots?
