But...I learned that if your regular carrier is off today, your mail won't come until another carrier has complted his/her route, and then does yours.

I only get mail 2 or three times a week. I live in a rural area on a road with two houses on it. I think my guy lets it build up and drops it when it is worthwhile. I don't care though, I get it eventually.

It's the Monday drag. Next Monday though is a holiday so he'll be twice as late next Tuesday.
