I'm fucking 31 and I looked in the mirror in the bathroom and I see fucking gray hair.

Good thing I have blonde hair, or I'd really be pissed.
I must need to release some stress...

when your hair is nearly black, like mine. Think highlights. You can get nice discrete ones, I think John Edwards got highlights, at least it looked that way. I had them for about 2 years and I decided to dye my hair really dark and let it grow out naturally. So naturally a few greys are coming in now but I'm 48 in a few months so it's to be expected.

My husband had chestnut hair when we married. He started to go white at 29. He has beautiful, thick silver hair now.

My girls have his hair. Our 25 year old is getting silver highlights. Right now, her hairdresser is blending them and giving her blond highlights. In a few years, she will probably let it go natural.

Many of the members of my husband's family got silver hair quite young. It is beautiful.

But I'm 34, and I didn't get the first gray till last year (33).

I'm in my fifties, and my hair is still jet black. Women ask me all the time if I dye it, even though there's a fair amount of grey in my beard...don't they think I'd dye the VanDyke as well if I was going to dye my hair?
