My Cat Ate Half Of a Blueberry Muffin!
We should have known better than to leave the muffins we made on the kitchen counter uncovered. We came in the kitchen to find my cat with her face in them! She ate half of a darn muffin! Grr!!! :grr:

1. We used to have a cat who loved bread more than anything!
We miss him terribly.

10. I had one too; he could strip the whole center out of a loaf of
bread in no time flat. He would rip right through the wrapper and everything.

I miss that cat like crazy and he has been gone for 18 years. He was my best beloved kitty, Atlas.

He absolutely could not resist a loaf of bread!

4. Awww - bet she was happy!
We left a pizza on the coffee table one time - we went outside to do something. Our dog ate two pieces of it & ALL of the toppings off the whole thing. It was pepperoni & extra cheese. She didn't poop for a week.

5. My cat had some Nan bread last night
But I offered it to him. Usually, he helps himself to any bread in the house, especially if it's in a plastic bag, which he then bites repeatedly and leaves in a heap on the floor.

My cats are also fond of marshmallows.

Cute little fuckers, ain't they?

Try to keep her away from sweet things
Lily's aunt (I knew the lady who owned her mother) once ate an entire cherry pie. She went into a diabetic coma and had to be revived at the vet. Abyssinians like strange things. Lily is half-Abby but mostly stays away from baked goods. She does, however, adore cantaloupe.

6. Most cats love anything with oil in it
Crackers, muffins, just plain butter .... Oh, and salmon. They like a nice salmon.

9. good for your cat!
yay!

my former cat would take meals with me . . . on the table, off my plate.

we'd have people over and sometimes somebody would get nonplussed over seeing a furry animal eating off my plate, but i would just tell them "he lives here."

i sure do miss big boy kitty.
