2. I had a dog who liked apples
and carrots, too. It was funny to watch; she would "shave" little pieces off with her very front teeth rather than taking big bites.

And what a riot it was to get her to chase a laser-pointer spot around the floor...

I miss that dog.

3. Mine likes apples and cucumbers
but he LOVES oranges and bananas! Too bad for him, I am not fond of bananas and probably only buy them twice a year.

Had a dog who was bonkers for cantaloupe! If she saw me eating grapefruit out of the half rind, she would get in a snit til I proved to her it wasn't cantaloupe I wasn't sharing with her.

Also had a cat who liked white grape juice, but not the grapes. He would spear a grape on a claw, hold his foot up over his head and lick the juice that trickled out of the pierced fruit. When the juice was sucked out, that grape would be discarded like an empty can!

5. So do mine
Since I live in the wilds and there's hundreds of acres around me with hundreds of wild apple trees they really get the runs during the Autumn from eating too many.

They love carrots, too, and I buy the bags of mini carrots and use them as treats.

Corn on the cob, as someone else mentioned, is a highly prized item when in season.

Both are English Yellow Labs. Mother and son.
