1. Go crazy
I worked very hard to get out the vote and I would go insane to learn he had not voted. He showed me his ballot when he sent it in just to make sure I knew he voted and voted early. If he hadn't voted, I would sit by his side every time and make sure he voted.

On a side note: My Dad, the Republican, asked if Novenber 20 was voting day and I changed the subject. I'm bad.

2. I would be devastated!
it's all been a lie! you were just pretending to hate republicans because you thought that's what I wanted to hear! You've been secretly seeing a republican! Oh, my bleeding heart!

Actually there's a better chance that the moon does turn out to be made of green cheese after all; believe it or not sui is the moderate one in the relationship. I keep telling R that people who have W'04 stickers on their Ford Earth Destroyers are people too and it's rude to run a stranger off the road and chase them screaming down the median into oncoming traffic.

3. Mine didn't
She was a Deaniac and when Kerry got the nomination she just lost interest (her quote: "Yet another boring blueblood white guy"). She got depressed after Dean was eliminated, and totally dropped out of all political discussions when he didn't get the nod for the VP slot.

My wife is an interesting woman, and her political beliefs are pretty inflexible. She simply refused to vote for a candidate she didn't believe in just to support the party.
