how the hell did that happen? it took me over a year to reach 1000, two months to reach 2000, and like 3 weeks to reach 3000. so i guess i should have 4000 by the end of the week! :silly:

14. What's with the Siberian Husky? Are those really his eyes?

They're beautiful dogs. But my sister-in-law has one that was mistreated as a puppy. Max is the most shy dog I've ever seen. You can't pet him. He runs away from women and trusts no one. He's impossible and he keeps his sister and her husband imprisoned. No one can watch him. No one can keep him while they go on vacation.

Sorry, but that dog should be put down. I used to raise Boston Terriers and Cocker Spaniels. Breeds get ruined by bad breeders and puppy mills.

No, Max is a member of the family. I just wouldn't want him in my house. I don't trust him although he seems to be sweet and gentle.

I remember my aunt brought us a young blonde Cocker Spaniel when I was a kid. The dog must have been mistreated as a puppy, because he hid under the table. When I reached out to touch him, he growled. My Dad gathered the leash and took him back to his former owner.

The Cockers I have owned (Buffy and Spice) were wonderful. However, they had a dominant fault called "submissive wetting" which caused them to piddle whenever they got excited (which was almost all the time). It was a big pain!

hehe, i'll have to remember never to show your post to my mom, or she'll have even more reasons not to allow us to get a dog. we did get a kitten, but it was an outdoor cat and really didn't like being indoors. It hated to be held, so scratches were common. It also scratched a hole in the bathroom wall!! needless to say, we only had it a couple weeks before my dad sold him to a farm where he could be better off.
