"Love Roller Coaster" - "gun shot"... what is your favorite urban legend?

Urban legend: In the middle of the song "Love Roller Coaster" there was a murder in the studio next door, and that at one point in the song one could hear the gun shot. Totally bogus story - but way back when I always tried to listen for "the shot".

4. The Albino Rat-Dog.

Story was that an giant albino rat from Norway was mistaken for a small dog by a nice elderly couple who took the "stray dog" in. When they woke up the next morning they found that the "dog" had killed and eaten the two cats and puppy the old couple also had. They took it to the SPCA and that's when it was revealed to be the aforementioned giant rat. It came off one of the ships at our International port was the story. Pretty stupid but a lot of people believed it, it was a hot topic on the street for a time. I got a good laugh out of it anyway.
