Now, I just have to decide if I want Mongolian Beef, General Tso Chicken or Almond Chicken. Maybe Mu Shu pork? Haven't had that in awhile. Suggestions appreciated.

I thought you were The Professor, but I see I have once again uncovered your disguise to try and foil my gustations of wonderfully spicy food.

We shall meet again my foe!

25. Careful.. "Digestion" is a relative term
when it comes to chunks of deep fried batter in mysterious sauces.

5. General Tso, definitely.
I'm hitting the Chinese buffet for lunch today. My plate generally looks like a chicken sampler. Honey chicken, sweet & sour chicken, teriyaki chicken, general tso's chicken, spicy chicken, chicken in peanut oil, etc...oh, and crab rangoon! lol

8. I had Chinese last night
I had a 4:30 appointment for my annual physical (which was incredibly depressing but that's another story) so I decided to pick up take out Chinese for me and the hubby. We had Da Chain Chicken, Sweet and Sour Pork, Kung Pao Scallops, dried sauteed string beans and steamed rice. Yummy!

(I have a killer recipe for General Tso's Chicken - it's easy and delicious)

11. Ask and you shall receive
It seems complicated but it's not. Just a little time consuming. I don't use the MSG.

General Tso’s Chicken

Sauce:
· 1/2 cup cornstarch
· 1/4 cup water
· 1+1/2 tsp minced garlic
· 1+1/2 tsp minced ginger root
· 3/4 cup sugar
· 1/2 cup soy sauce
· 1/4 cup white vinegar
· 1/4 cup cooking wine
· 1+1/2 cup hot chicken broth
· 1 tsp monosodium glutamate (optional)
Meat:
· 3 lbs deboned dark chicken meat, cut into large chunks
· 1/4 cup soy sauce
· 1 tsp white pepper
· 1 egg
· 1 cup cornstarch
· Vegetable oil for deep-frying
· 2 cups sliced green onions
· 16 small dried hot peppers

1) Mix 1/2 cup cornstarch with water. Add garlic, ginger, sugar, 1/2 cup soy sauce, vinegar, wine, chicken broth and MSG (if desired). Stir until sugar dissolves. Refrigerate until needed.

2) In separate bowl, mix chicken, 1/4 cup soy sauce and white pepper. Stir in egg. Add 1 cup cornstarch and mix until chicken pieces are coated evenly. Add cup of vegetable oil to help separate chicken pieces. Divide chicken into small quantities and deep-fry at 350 degrees until crispy. Drain on paper towels.

3) Place a small amount of oil in wok and heat until wok is hot. Add onions and peppers and stir-fry briefly. Stir sauce and add to wok. Place chicken in sauce and cook until sauce thickens.

10. Don't rub it in!
There's no decent Chinese food within a thousand miles of Cluj-Napoca.

(Three Chinese restaurants in town, but all the food tastes like Hungarian Goulash)

I get too much Chinese food, though. General Tso is not real Chinese food - it's an American invention.

A Google search has revealed nothing about this man so far. Did he hang around with Sun Tzu or something?

23. he's unknown in China
Supposedly, some obscure 18th century general from China... but, I saw an interview with a descendent of his that lived in China and this person had no clue that General Tso was big in America or even had anything to do with chicken.
