Yes, Fred Schneider is way cool!

But I'll just leave any literal meaning of your subject line alone. :-)

5. The B-52s were my first concert ever!
My dad still gives me grief about dragging him to see that show (me=big fan; him=um, not so much).

8. B-52's "Cosmic Thing" last night of basic training
I found someone's walkman (previously confiscated) and went looking for anything I could stand listening to. Mostly it was 80's hair bands (this was in '90) and I found "Cosmic Thing". I hadn't kept up with the B-52's but Rock Lobster was a constant at parties of some kinds. I listened to the whole thing over and over and over while I (alone) cleaned so I could get the hell out of there the next day.

We passed inspection (I doubt anyone fails much) and we owe it all to Fred and the B-52's.
