Beaker is Dead.

Beaker, beloved entertainer of millions of adults and children alike, has died at the age of 28.

Well-known from his numerous appearances on "The Muppet Show," and other Muppet-related programming, Beaker succumbed Monday evening to injuries allegedly suffered during a violent "borking" session at the Swedish Chef's house.

The Chef is being held in the Los Angeles County jail pending a competency hearing.

There will be a private memorial on Thursday. The Beaker family is requesting that, in lieu of flowers, donations be sent in Beaker's name to the American Association of Speech Pathologists.
