4. That's what I am thinking because I can't find any specific
phrase that excludes these options. It is a purely academic question....I have no aspirations. :evilgrin:

3. Not as long as the Constitution is in effect.
And we can't just vote that away, either.

Of course, the Little Cowboy might just decide to ignore the Constitution, like he always does, and crown himself Emperor like Napoleon did. Or Chimperor.

Maybe it is all the gin and tonic, but I just had this thought. Is there a specific exemption to doing all of these?

7. I now realize I am in the wrong forum...but if you would like....
I am not talking about granting by an entity of the government, I m talking about electing a king. I don't see where this is Constitutionally prohibited

Kings are hereditary monarchs. You don't elect them.
