4. So anyway, here's what I say we do....

People have been throwing around the idea of splitting California into two or even three states for years and years now. Now's the perfect time to do it. We'll let the idiotic Hollywood have their Governator, and then elect someone with a brain for our own governor! Northern CA folks are scared to do it cuz they say all the money is down south in San Diego and LA. Not true. If we cut it off around, say, Santa Cruz or Monterey, Nor Cal gets the WHOLE Bay Area (which includes Silicon Valley), the best wine country in the US, and, best of all, we've got the SF Bay itself, which is a helluva port for trading stuff.
This is just an initial assessment, of course. I'm gonna draw up some plans, consult my cat, and see if it'll work or not.

....I just moved a little over a month ago out of CA to IL to move in with my girlfriend.
Yeah you know before the war and now THIS I actually believed that people were smart, for the most part. You know, like Lincoln's saying. But now, nope. They're all frickin idiots. They're little puppets that the media jerks around. It's all the TV's fault. I wholeheartedly believe that. Americans are turning into fat fucks, and it's because of the TV. You can just see how people's perception of things gets affected by what's going on on TV. Just look what it's done to us. It's pushed me to hardcore drinking.
