2. There already is a band named Oasis.
I would probably get sued by a slew of lawyers, since they have so much money from being more popular than The Beatles.

i don't even care i'm just playing devil's advocate is all.

i'm just saying that paul is the first and ONLY musician ever to be worth more than a billion dollars and he just reached that mark a couple years ago

I read at least 6 years ago that Bowie was worth just under one billion. He's probably passed the mark by now.

8. Bowie should cover an Oasis song.
That would put him over the mark, as well as increase Oasis' album sales.

If you really wanted to get technical, you could say that Oasis was at least David Bowie times four, because Terence Trent D'Arby was more popular than David Bowie and Oasis was like Terence Trent D'Arby times four.
