does anyone know . . .
the geometric name for "heart shaped?" I always thought it was "heart shaped." Someone just told me otherwise but couldn't remember the specific term. I just googled "geometric shapes" and got all sorts of lesson plans mostly for elementary students.

I'll dig some more but if anyone knows the term off the top of their heads please post.

thanks.

2. Cardioid
At least that's what it is applied to the heart-shaped response pattern of microphones.
