funny they made me sign an agreement to not sue them upon separation. but no non-compete or "silence" agreement.

1. Seriously?
Were you involved with corporate work, or did you sling hash at a station?

6. oh yes, everyday
especially when every other conversation ended with some shitty comment about john kerry. or watching these dinosaur jocks (who lost big time during the mergers) go on about how great bush was in the cigarette area.

3. When did they start playing Dixie Chicks again?
I hear one station playing "Landslide" and was very surprised.

4. corporate
makes no official mandate vis-a-vis playlists and supposedly leaves this discretion at the local manager level.

HOWEVER, during the annual budgeting cycle when they revamp clocks, there is much back-and-forth between corporate and locals as it concerns programming.

additionally, local markets have little or no input as it regards "product" and how that product gets positioned. additionally, local markets are stocked full with conservatives and their ilk.

official stance is that centralized control does not exist (and this is pervasive in internal and external communications), but buck that line as a g.m. and watch how budget dollars diminish.

7. Did you know any of the idiots
who practice animal cruelty as a regular sort of thing? Dropping animals out of 5th floor windows or killing pigs and whatnot?

If I met any of those fuckers I'd have to punch them.

Wow! In the same thread as my beloved! That NEVER happens!
:hi: honey!
