We had it all. Just like Bogie and Bacall.
Okay, so my husband and I watched this wonderfully AWFUL show about bad love songs, and this one was featured. We were wondering when the song came out, so I looked it up... check out what I found! (Click the banner to visit the site...)

AHOY ME HARDIES!
This is Bertie and I want to welcome you to my website. I've included everything that I could think of and if you like what you see please visit often. If you don't, then please don't mention this to anyone; let them find out on their own. The picture on this page is of me and my band, "The Band of Pirates", discussing the song list for one of our concerts and having a slight debate over pay. ARRR!

So, c'mon, climb aboard mates, and we'll set sail together on a great voyage of adventure and discovery.

ENJOY!

1. My parents had that record
back in the day. I saw the show on VH1 and was cracking up. The video was hilariously cheesy.

3. I was alternately gagging and laughing my ass off.
I didn't want to watch it but I couldn't look away!

2. Do you remember his jingoistic comeback attempt?
Dear Bertie released a song called "Flags on Fire" (or "The Flag's on Fire" or something like that) during Desert Storm in a vain attempt to revive his carees.

I'm glad I did this then... I love the pitiful, 'if you don't like it please don't tell anyone how ridiculous and cheesy this site is' plea!

5. I always hated that song!
Unfortunately, I remember it. And because of that, I think I'll pass on the web site.

6. I doubt anyone who's heard it could forget it.
Such is the awesome power of its vileness!
