Hey, here's the deal. I'm having problems with a delay in my video presentations. From the time you "start" a slide its a good 10 seconds before the video kicks in. Meantime, the Audio starts on schedule. Don't know if anyone has any ideas but I figure with the skills we have here someone might have an idea.
Technical details- We are using an Epson ceiling mounted project to display content from a Dell Latitude Laptop (Windows. A gig of memory on the Dell. The connection path is as follows - VGA cord from computer to wall terminal/junction box (12 feet). VGA cord from terminal to project (18 foot estimated).
When I start a video in Media Player the sounds starts normally (of course, it doesn't go to the projector :eyes: ). The video takes about 10 seconds to start - and this is for a short clip of about 30 seconds or less. Until the video starts all that is seen is a black screen.
thanks for any insights. If you tell me to buy a Mac I will hunt you down and , uh, well, do something really bad. What hasn't come to me quite yet, but by the time I find you it will!
