Will, don't worry at all. 5mg Valium will NOT in any way make you incoherent. It will simply take the edge off your anxiety. You'll be fine.

Take the valium and some nitrous oxide and you'll be fine.

NOTE: i'm a major dentist-sissy myself. I visit a dentist who does "sedation dentistry". For any major work, I'm knocked out. It's expensive, but worth it for people like me who are phobic about dentists.
