and not much else.I'm a computer novice. I never learned how to type and the last couple of weeks have been my first on-line experiences. I'm a technodork. But DU was exactly what I was looking for. I'd never heard the word blog or blogger. I tried looking around for political discussion and wasn't smart enough to hook up. I like talk radio. I hate the nasty, evil closed-minded hosts..but one of them mentioned DU by name..so I started looking in. I had to go through the spam-filter business and wait several days before I could log in. I felt like a disembodied entity, watching, and wishing to communicate with the living.
