Do they bottle New York City tap water? |
|
The thread on bottled tap water got me thinking...
New York City has long prided itself on having the greatest-tasting tap water in the world--no mean feat when you consider how much of it New York City uses in a day.
New York City water always wins the water tasting contest at the annual municipal water system conference. (Yes, there is such a thing.)
The directions for making the perfect cup of coffee always begin with "use New York City water."
And the unique and delicate flavor of Fox's U-Bet chocolate syrup is credited to Fox's use of pure New York City water.
So I ask: is this delightful and refreshing water available in bottles? And if not, why not?

3. I used to love it when |
|
I would pour a glass of the elixir and all the little white bubbles would be in the water and float to the top!
I miss NYC water!

4. Of all the places I've live on the East Coast...NYC had the best tap water |
|
and as I've moved down the East Coast...I buy more and more bottled water from Springs....it doesn't taste as good but the chlorine get's more abundant the farther South one moves...and forget the Coasts...blech....The water SMELLS! Taking a shower you never feel clean but chemicalized...

6. NYC water is also credited for the Pizza. |

Pizza is not the same in other places. The biggest difference? The water.
BTW, my hair changes when I travel. It feels different when I wash it outside of NYC. That has something to do with the water.
