Britney Spears Angry After Honeymoon Photos Published

NEW YORK -- Britney Spears has issued a statement lashing out at Us Weekly for publishing photos of her honeymoon.

Spears said she's disturbed that the magazine has printed what it calls her "private honeymoon album." She said she and her husband chose a resort where they were promised absolute privacy.

Staff members took photos of them, which Spears and her husband allowed when they were assured they were being taken for private use in a scrapbook they were given as a souvenir. Spears said other magazines, including The Star, contacted them when presented with the photos and agreed not to publish them.

Spears thanked them for respecting her privacy. There was no comment from Us Weekly.

The following is a statement from Britney Spears:


I am disturbed by the photos and article that appeared in this week's issue of US Weekly Magazine (dated Feb 28, 2005), which they call my "private honeymoon album." Kevin and I chose a resort location where we were promised absolute privacy and seclusion. Unfortunately, staff members took photographs of us, which we allowed them to take once we were assured they were being taken only for private use in a scrap book they gave us as a souvenir of our honeymoon. Other magazines, including the Star, contacted us when presented with these photographs and refused to publish them. Kevin and I thank those other magazines for respecting our rights of privacy.

Uh, sorry, but NOBODY CARES. She is a stupid girl who married a sleazy lad, who has two children with another woman, a woman he left PREGNANT to go scampering off with the "singer" (I use the term loosely, mind you).

I'm betting this latest marriage won't last a year. She should have stuck with that kid she went to school with that she married for a day and a half...at least he's an old friend. Silly, pathetic girl...
