How about this budget cut: Eliminate Presidential Pensions

With all the money the private sector is willing to throw at ex-presidents in the form of book deals and speaking fees why the hell is the government giving these guys money?

At the time Presidential pensions were instituted ex-President's weren't insured of making a living, but now it's FAT CITY for these guys.

Certainly, there should be a maximum income allowed before the acceptance of pensions.

None of what you said is untrue, and yet....

It IS the most difficult job in the world, bar none. And just because Chimpy is in office, I haven't lost sight of that. They deserve the money that they get (Chimpster excluded, but he's a special case).

Besides, in the grand scheme of things, the Presidential Pension really isn't going to make that big a difference.
