Backing up Firefox Bookmarks - help!
I recently downloaded Firefox and haven't yet figured out where to find the bookmarks file in my file manager so I can back them up. I'm getting ready to run a couple of spybot and cleaning programs and want to make sure everything is backed up. I first heard about Firefox here at DU so I'm hoping someone can help me out with this! Thanks in advance :bounce:

1. Go to Bookmarks, and click Manage Bookmarks.
In the manage bookmarks window, click on file, export, and choose a name and place to export your bookmarks for later retrieval.

2. Windows / Application Data / Mozilla / Firefox
The bookmark export routine mentioned by the other poster is the simplest for what you're asking. But if you want to know where your user data is in general, that's the directory.
