We're having a tea party.
Well, Miz t. is.
I can hear laughter from the living room.
There are four ladies in there.
They are dressed to the nines.
Miz t. is serving sweet iced tea, chocolate milk, little round marshmallow and peanut butter sandwiches, star shaped sweetened cream cheese sandwiches, and a doll cake.

Cameron lives next door and she is three years old today.
Miz t. had promised her a tea party.
Cameron's mommy and grandma came too.
I think I'll just stay holed up in here for a while.
;-)

4. Cameron is a knockout.
Curly brown hair and brown eyes.
On warm afternoons she sometimes escapes and appears semi-nude at our front door.
Last time she was in a diaper and cowgirl boots.
"Help me take these OFF!"
Kid does not like clothes unless it's dress-up.
;-)

15. You'd have to wear a dime store tiara, or a big picture hat.
That seems to be the uniform of the day.
Grandma showed up in the floor length dress she wore to her daughter's wedding.
I'm now hearing squeals from Cameron.
The party seems to be livening up.

10. We'll be ...
spiking the tea. We're having of course finger sandwiches, cookies, desserts, veggie platters. The boys just love my brother in law, so I'm asking him to play card-dealer with his little casino table (craps, blackjack, roulette)--he'll have to wear bunny ears--We're making this kind of a Alice In Wonderland Tea Party. Vegas kind of lounge music along with showtunes, and cheesey pop/r&b/disco tunes will waft thru the room for ambiance. And of course a bar for the lushes in all of us! Just call me Phoeb Tyler Wallingford--welcome to Pine Valley darling!

13. I thought...
about that and will bring it up in our next meeting. I'm sooo excited and I just can't hide it. Our annual summer pool party is to die for. We go all out complete with Recreation Room (tent) for men who are just playful (oooh just sooo naughty) and wonderful food--clothing option fun, naked Twister anyone?--the attendance seems to grow every year!

14. May I come - as a man?
Well you should try something fun on the main tea theme like maybe some chocolate chip scones. No, I don't have a recipe. Just find a recipe for scones and add raisins and chocolate chips, that should do it.

16. The party's over
It's time to call it a day
They've burst your pretty balloon
And taken the moon away
It's time to wind up
the masquerade
Just make your mind up
the piper must be paid

The party's over
The candles flicker and dim
You danced and dreamed through the night
It seemed to be right
just being with him
Now you must wake up,
all dreams must end
Take off your makeup,
the party's over
It's all over, my friend

Cameron had to go home for her nap, but she's a party girl.
She wants to do it all over again tomorrow.
:-)
A good time was had by all.
