Poll question: Parrot or green turd with a hat?

At the top of my site there is always an icon symbolizing the next national holiday. For the first half of February it's been a tiny gold heart; Now that Valentines Day is over, I'd like to put up a picture representing Presidents Day.

So far is this parrot fits the bill:


The bird fits the color scheme of my site and he's simultaneously playful yet professional-looking.

Resized to fit on the front-page he looks like this:



Here's the problem: I can't decide if he looks like a playful-yet-professional parrot symbolizing Presidents Day, or a green turd with flags and a hat. Could you please take a look at my site give me your opinion? (www.brainshrub.com)

2. On a 19" 1280x1000 resolution screen, he looks like a turd

It is hard to tell what it is supposed to be. The flags are obvious, and it pretty much does look like something with a hat on, but other than, hard to tell.
