I just found the oddest thing while walking my dog behind my townhome
A dead ferret in a tree, about three feet off the ground, not only was that odd but the ferret had a IV needle stuck in it's left front leg...the ferret had crawled up the tree from the position of its body and had probably died during the night as it dropped down to 22 degrees. I left it there but kept an eye out for a posting about a missing ferret. I've found albino rabbits and a few dogs running loose behind my townhome not including the regular wildlife such as beaver, coyote, fox and deer but this was just a little bizarre.

2. That IV needle worries me a little...
I hope that it wasn't some punk-ass kids having "fun" with the little creature

7. the IV had been placed professionaly, thoroughly wrapped in surgical
tape, but the ferret looked as though it could have reached it with mouth but the tape and needle were untouched..weird

3. That's sad- I wonder if it was trying to escape medical care
or just escaped to find a place to die.

6. How sad. Looks like homocide (by a druggie). Ferrets are usu.
pets. If this one had been a pet, it would've gone quite easily to anyone who called it. How sad.
