Poll question: Do you CARE that Britney Spears is furious over her honeymoon pics?

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/6988796/

Photos of Spears and her new husband, Kevin Federline, are on the cover of Us Weekly magazine under the headline: “Britney’s Private Album!” Other pictures of the couple’s October honeymoon in the Fiji islands are displayed on five pages inside the magazine, on newsstands Friday.

Spears quickly issued a statement condemning the use of the photographs, which show the happy couple relaxing and enjoying breakfast on the beach.

“Kevin and I chose a resort location where we were promised absolute privacy and seclusion,” the 23-year-old pop star said. “Unfortunately, staff members took photographs of us, which we allowed them to take once we were assured they were being taken only for private use in a scrap book they gave us as a souvenir.”

“Other magazines, including Star, contacted us when presented with these photographs and refused to publish them,” said Spears. “Kevin and I thank those other magazines for respecting our rights of privacy.”

They actually believed the staff would keep them private, and not leak/sell them?

9. I ran in to her once in New York
Edited on Thu Feb-17-05 09:41 PM by Wheaty
A friend and I were driving back from the Montreal Film Festival a few years back and stopped in Saratoga Springs NY for dinner at a nice outdoor cafe. She and some of her dancers were at the table next to us.

My friend was in the music business (retail end) and recognized her. The waiter had no idea who he was waiting on nor did anyone else in the cafe nor did they care. Everyone in the cafe just went about their business the whole time including us even though we recognized her.

She proceeded to leave the cafe with her dancers (she was playing that night at the arena there) and walk up and down the street boisterously until she attracted a crowd of preteens following her than ran back up the street to her hotel like she was frightened all the time looking to see if any of us in the cafe noticed her.

So am I upset that she is furious over honeymoon pictures. Well judging from her attention grabbing behavior while her 15 minutes were still ticking, my guess is that she probably hired the photographer that supposedly violated her honeymoon privacy herself.

edit: the typo monster gets me everytime
