blocked off for three blocks in every direction. And I can't find a thing about it on any news source..Talk about wierd.

I had to take a huge detour to get home at 5:30 Tuesday night, so I called my daughter to warn her. Well she came home at 10:30 and told me they were still out there.

When I was rescuing (HAH!) the cat from the roof (in reality he was trying to kill me) later that evening I could hear the cops talking through their megaphones, etc. It was only 3 short blocks away. But it is like nothing everhappened. If my kid hadn't seen it too, I think I would be sure I imagined it.

2. This happened to us a few years ago. There was, literally in my suburban

neighborhood, a shoot'em up drug bust kitty corner form us. They (DEA) actually shot the door down. In broad daylight, in the middle of summer, with kids around. The arrestees? A man and a woman in their 60's who liked to grow pot in their basement. Talk about overkill. That never made the papers either.
