19. I cheated on an IQ test once

I was in sixth grade and they were testing me to see if I should be in the gifted program. The woman giving me the test had the book with the questions and answers in front of her where I could read it upside down. I couldn't resist.

I have felt guilty about that to this day - it's the only test I ever cheated on. Not that there was much benefit - it just hooked me up with all the other slackers in my school.

27. That reminds me of going to get my son at school when he

was around second grade or so. He was in the gifted class and they were meeting at this time. They met in a different room and I was going down the hall looking for the room. When I walked in I thought I must have been in the wrong room, that maybe this was for the kids at the other end of the Bell curve and they were meeting that day. The kids all looked so goofy, walking around basically with their fingers in their ears, mumbling to themselves. I looked at my son sitting there and thought "he fits right in."
