What are you doing this weekend?
Anything exciting on the itinerary? What mundane tasks do you need to take care of?

Lots of fun!
I'm taking my stepson shopping for a guitar & amp tomorrow morning (why he can't play drums is beyond me!), watching the Busch race tomorrow afternoon, getting drunk tomorrow night. Sunday I'll sleep in, then watch the Daytona 500, and probably get drunk. Monday I'll lay around like a slug and do nothing.

Watching Sci-Fi Channel's Sci-Fi fridays, hanging out on DU, might catch a College Bball game on Sat.

That's all probably.

9. recording session
Going to be in the studio with my good friend Rocky Frisco working on some of his songs. When Rocky isn't playing around town, writing or recording, He's on tour with his regular gig, The JJ Cale Band.

This is going to be a fun weekend!

30. That sounds like fun
I was hoping to get the motivation up to get down into my home studio this weekend. I am working on a "roots" cd. We have some basic tracks recorded, but my motivation level is pretty low these days.

39. I hear ya
I pretty much locked my studio up for about 18 months. I got transferred into a 90 mile commute on my job and it just wore me out and didn't leave much time for anyhthing else. Now that I am working 4 days a week instead of 5, the motivation to record came roaring back. I just finished a rock CD and have a bluegrass project I might be doing too.

I work every weeked. My days off are Tuesday, Wednesday.
I always seem to have a funky work schedule. My last job was with ten hour shifts and had a two week cycle of days on and days off that I cannot remember. Then the job before that I had twelve hour shifs of four days on, four days off. I loved that schedule - 182 days off a year!

parents at my son's school are doing it as a group. I always have wanted to do that. Some work, some play. More Monopoly games... my son is going through a Monopoly phase.

Then I'm hoping to take my kid to his Grandparents so my h and I can have a "date."

We've only been out once. Is the weather better in Chicago than in South Texas? Or are you just better prepared to ride in cold/wet weather than we are? Ok, I think I know the answer to that one.

Enjoy your time off Sunday and Monday.

:hi:
