Poll question: Who else thinks Bouncy Ball should write a book?
There are loads of posters here who are quite erudite, but when it comes to genuine persona, I think Bouncy has the market cornered. Her writing style is enjoyable and she always makes her point.

I wouldn't mind seeing a journal or compendium of the characters she dreams up in print.

I'm putting her on the spot with this post because I hate when people's talents are unsung and I honestly think some of her characters are the basis for a sitcom

22. Did she attend Yale in the mid-'80s (or later), by any chance?
Edited on Fri Feb-18-05 09:40 PM by KamaAina
Wait, hear me out. Back in the day, we used to have a fine old Thursday night tradition known as Story-reading, in which the better class of children's literature (Lewis Carroll, Phantom Tollbooth, Harry Potter (if they were doing it now), etc.) was read, milk and cookies were served, and we played with those little rubber balls you get from vending machines, which we called -- yes -- bouncy balls.

I was just wondering how else she could have gotten the name.
