Time for the "Hey where's my credit?" Thread
Edited on Fri Feb-18-05 05:51 PM by HEyHEY
If you've done something in the last little while you got no credit for, or someone ELSE got credit for... bitch about it here.

We got an email from the Network thanking the other guy here for the way he'd been sending things in.

Only thing, he wasn't the one doing it...I was. The reason I did it ws because I phoned the network one day and said "Hey, would it be easier for you if I did things this way?"

The thing that gets me about it is it came from the guy who would be the one hiring me if I ever went for a job at the station the network is based out of. That is something I was gonna try within the next couple of years.

Remember that episode of the Simpsons?

On the up side whenever there's a fuck-up hopefully he thinks it's the other guy too.

1. I received a neighbor's electric bill in my mailbox and I paid it

she's a struggling single mom and the bill was an overdue one. I didn't know it wasn't mine until I opened it.

7. I ran into the house across the street (it was on fire)
and put the fire on the kitchen stove out with my fire extinguisher before the fire department got there.

The Fire Marshal told me later that the house was likely about two minutes from flashover (explosive ignition of thick smoke) when I snuffed the fire.

Did the owner so much as buy me a six-pack? No. Not that I did it for free beer, but...

(This story is the stone truth.)
