I just spent the workday listening to my 100 favorite songs of 1965.
As many of you know, I work as a delivery driver. Thankfully, my work vehicle has a CD player. Today, I brought in the four CDs I made last summer from the list of my 100 personal favorites of that amazingly great year for popular music, 1965. Here's what I heard today, and the order in which I heard them:

May I dare to add "You Were On My Mind" by We Five to your list?

Oh, and something by the Byrds. How about "Feel a Whole Lot Better"

5. '65 was a terrific year for tunes!
Top 40 radio was rockin' back then!

Your list is excellent. If I had to pick my favorite from among them, it would be The Temps' "Since I Lost My Baby."
