Sportsnet (Pacific at least) is advertising 40 Sox games this season.

2. Maritimes (Atlantic Provinces?) have been for years
I must have read Joel Garreau's "Nine Nations of North America" twenty years ago. He actually gave everything east of Quebec to New England. He mentioned "the ubiquitous cable TV connections, which allow people in the Maritimes to be driven just as crazy by the Red Sox as the Worcester (Mass.) tenement dweller. When the boys boot another one to the Yankees, you can hear the curses all over Halifax."

If you're wondering, he places coastal B.C. in "Ecotopia", along with the U.S. Pacific Northwest, and eastern B.C. and Alta. with "the Empty Quarter", the Intermountain West.
