New York, Boston, and Philadelphia fans are the rudest in the country. In only those three cities, will they boo one of their own players even for going into a mild slump. They are rude and profane to other teams' players and fans like nobody else.
I am originally from Atlanta and an a big fan of the Braves. We went to Yankee Stadium for an interleague game with our hats on and got beer dumped on us by those assholes in the stands. They called us names that would make a prostitute blush. We went to Boston the next year and these lowlifes took our caps and returned them an inning later smelling like urine. Yet whenever fans come to Atlanta wearing garb from other teams, they are left alone.

I have seen bad behavior at Yankee stadium-throwing batteries at opposing outfielders, and at Fenway, the constant heckling and rude language can get out of control, but Fenway security would have thrown the Urinators out on their ass. They are VERY strict.

I think you're showing anti-Yankee bias, which on DU is perfectly acceptable. If it were the other way around, our Southern brethren would be pitchin' a hissy.
