2. Live in Phoenix
This is my favorite time of year to walk outdoors.

Did you ever eat orange blossoms? When I went to the store yesterday they were selling dried flowers that are edible. I've also attended luncheons where they placed edible flowers on the foods to eat. No I don't dine in fancy places but part of conventions that I was required to attend for work. Now I am very happily retired and live in my own little happy world.

4. Oh, you simply must try some
You can tell how sublime a squash will be by the fragrance of the blossom. So just imagine how sublime that orange blossom nectar is in the honey the bees make with it.

Smeared on a cathead biscuit, there is no finer thing.

But Tupelo honey is nice, and I'm partial to sourwood.

Phoenix sounds ( and smells, obviously) divine right now.

5. I never ate orange blossoms
but I have eaten Nasturtiums and pansies and violets in salads and as garnishes. You can candy the violets and i bet you can do the same with the orange blossoms.

I'm pure hillbilly at this stage in life, but I maintain a native new Yorkers affinity for the best freakin' food.

And your own little world sounds nice.O8)
