I don't like eHarmony. In fact, I hate eHarmony. here's why:

- The guy who made the shit is right straight out of that 'Focus on the Family' cult...he's one of those Repukes.

- Their site does not recognize same-sex relationships. This is odd because almost all online dating services offer gay dating.

- I don't think love can be produced out of some '29 dimensions of compatibility' bullshit. Do you really want a lover that is exactly like you? And if these people are so much like each other, I wouldn't be surprised if eHarmony never matched interracial couples, because its founder, is a repuke.

- If someone is not religious enough, eHarmony sends out this:
"Unfortunately, we are not able to make our profiles work for you. Our matching system is not suitable for about 20% of potential users, so 1 in 5 people simply would not benefit from our service. We hope that you understand that we regret our inability to provide service for you at this time. "

So, if you're going to try online dating, don't try this shit.

4. I tried E-Harmony. It sucks!!! Let me tell you my horror story:

It took me a fucking week before I could actually e-mail freely to the person they matched me up with. After like 100 hours of tests and BS I finally had her send me a photo and their was absolutely no attraction. ALSO!!!!!! She was a fundamentalist Christian and probably a Republican! We were a complete mismatch! What a crock and it cost like $70. DON'T EVER TRY IT!

5. I'm on eharmony.

I know it was started by one of those Christian guys, but after all the advertising they've been doing, many of the folks using the site are not religious people. Surprisingly, they've matched me up with a number of men but most of them get closed off right away, mainly because they live on the other side of the country, sometimes because one of us isn't interested for other reasons. I've never met anybody. I did talk to one man on the phone but that's as far as that went (but it was weird some of the things we had in common, no interests as much as in our backgrounds).

And yes, they do match interracial couples. They've matched me up with several African-American men (and I'm white).
