Woo Hoo! I got Mellencamp tickets this morning.

They went on sale at 10:00 CST and I just completed the purchase. My wife and daughter are both going too, so it should be a great time.

Oh, I also got tickets to see The Wallflowers at a small local venue. I really dig them.

Can't wait. My daughter is only 10 but she LOVES music. We took her to see Fleetwood Mac two years ago. It was her first big concert. She was in complete awe when she walked through the curtained ramp which opened up into the big arena. She had never seen anything like it before. It was fun to watch her face. Then, when the music started... It was just fun.

Her first "concert" was when we were in Okinawa and she was about 3. We actually had Warrant (LOL) playing out on the lawn of the NCO Club. They put on a fun show and she sat on my shoulders the whole time just rockin'. I was never a big fan, but it was a free show. Well after that, she ran around the house singing "Cherry Pie" all the time. It got kinda embarassing. :)
