Let's say you have a mouse named, I dunno, Susie
and she was tired of always scurrying around trying to find scraps. She was tired of being hungry. The cat gets all the good food around here, and refuses to share. Would you:

encourage Susie to gather her family, friends and neighbors around her for a charge on the cat and the food supplies?

Discuss a rational, reasonable way to share the excess food in the house?

poison the cat?

try to get the cat to believe that there was another desirer of the food in the house that was a huge threat, and cat should join forces against this usurper?

Something else?

3. If I had a Mouse named Susie...
...that was always hungry, I'd be a lousy owner/master if I didn't make sure she had her needs met.

I could go on, but now that I think about it, you're probably right.
