About an hour ago, I heard a couple of loud "bangs"

that I thought sounded like shotgun blasts. Then I heard sirens screaming all over the place. It seemed like this was going on a few blocks away. Now I'm hearing the sounds of heavy engines, but no sirens.

I'd love to know what's going on...
Anybody in the Riverdale, MD neck of the woods?

7. There's a Catholic High School...
DeMatha, which has a rep for being excellent. There's a "Washington Bible College" not too far from here. I used to laugh when I'd drive by, because they had heavy barbed wire on their fence...seemingly designed for the dual purpose of keeping people in and keeping them out!
