Has anyone else seen this commercial? Does it strike anyone else as lame and shameless?

aren't they?
Ooooh! I'm sorry. I promise that will be my only sexist comment of the night. At least it was a change from every other commercial that uses a random woman with a big chest to sell my gender something.

We're not emotional. Really. Only insensitive cave men believe that. (and that's my only sexist comment for the night)

And since both of us are pretty broke, we can't usually see each other every weekend. But next weekend looks good- and he took time off for the week of springbreak so we'll be together for a week! I won't be sober for that week at all. SCORE!

4. The joke is that the guy wants the car so much that he's willing to... |
|
use terribly unethical methods (i.e. falsly indicate a desire for children) in order to sell his wife on the particular model of car.

5. Oh that's a different one |

but also somewhat insulting to women. The Saturn one gets played less. It has a young woman talking about how she always felt like she was compromising with the qualities in the men she dated. Then "brian" or whatever his name is came along and she got everything she wanted in a man, just like the Saturn Ion.
I like my Saturn but I'm not a fan of this commercial.

8. I think that ones's for a Mitsubishi. |

That commercial irritates the carp out of me, both because it's sexist and because that's not a very good car for a family anyhow.
