Poll question: Poll: Chris Rock to host Academy Awards |
|
Straight and to the point>> I think He's a lousy choice. He's funny (at times) but really hasn't established himself in the Movie Industry except doing Grade B Films. With so many truly up and coming cool stars, I think the powers-that-be dropped the ball on this choice.

1. I am really going to miss Billy Crystal. He was great at it. |
|
:hi: I don't want to see up and coming. I want to see established and worthy of being chosen. :hi:

I can think of at least 40 established people that would have been better choices.

2. Chris Rock will make me laugh. |

If I have to watch the Oscars, I may as well be entertained for a change.

4. Did they even ask Eddie Murphy? |
|
One of the funniest men on the planet? Chris Rock is good but he'll be shackled by the enforced blandness of network TV. I'll be interested to see how he does.

5. I want to see him mock the whole thing |

I'll actually watch it just because he's hosting it.
