Bad Movies: Not bad ha-ha, just plain old bad.
For me, Severed and House of the Dead come to mind.

8. "Pay it Forward"--good mention.
I saw bits of it, but just couldn't watch the whole thing. I thought it was like a bunch of actors (Kevin Spacey, Helen Hunt, Haley Joel Osment) and themes (disfigurement, substance abuse, tragedy, positive message) thrown together as if to say--"We dare you not to give *somebody* an Oscar here."

14. Great call!
I absolutely hated that movie. Another one along a similar vein was "Morvern Callar" that I thought was just atrocious.

21. Once you understand it, you might like it more
Mulholland Drive was the story of Hollyweird told in Hollyweird cliches. I loved it.

27. I understand that. However it still doesn't explain:
-the itty bitty people that giggle
-the sucking up to the expresso fanatic guy
-the midget in the wheelchair with huge ears that calls all the shots
-the cowboy who shows up for no reason at all

There was simply a lot of extraneous material in it, because it was originally intended as a TV series, then crammed into a movie. Way too many loose ends.

28. Can't disagree with you there
Some of the references I didn't get, but I got enough to appreciate the movie. By the way, I think the little giggling people were a pastiche of the Munchkins or Lilliputians.

from an exam and it was nice and dark.

REEKED!

Edit: Last night I watched "American Werewolf in London" and of course, I couldn't help comparing the two, which I suppose is unfair to "Gothika." But "Gothika" would have reeked without the comparison as well.

I have no desire to see KB II.

I really hated "The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen" too.

Wow, that was terrible. I told everybody it would suck, but got outvoted. To make matters worse, I didn't have my license yet, and it was snowing too hard to walk home. I HAD to watch it.

Drag.

I like foreign films and I like off-beat surrealism, so I thought I might like this. I was wrong. If you're ever in the foriegn film section of Blockbuster and hear a strange hissing sound, it's the sound of this movie sucking.
