4. Back in the day
I called it "surf metal" (I'm not talkin' smack about surf music) it just sounded to me like all those LA metal bands were only in for the beach parties, and the term "Hair Metal" did not exist yet. In my teenage days in the '80s I liked British Heavy Metal--mainly Judas Priest and Iron Maiden, can you imagine how bummed I was when "metal" became popular and people were talking about POISON!

Man, that totally sucked.

It's funny how time changes perception though; I heard Ratt's "Dancing Undercover" on satellite radio a few weeks ago, and (god I hate myself for admitting this) thought it sounded kinda cool.

For the record "You Give Love a Bad Name" is the song that officially killed rock and roll!

7. Cut the Mullet
Do something about your long, filthy hair
It looks like a rat's nest
Do something about your mullet
Get out the hair clippers, jerk

Cut the mullet
Cut the mullet
Cut the mullet
Cut the mullet

Get the rat's nest off your head
Get that crazy-ass mother off your skull
Take your ass to the barber shop
Tell the barber that you're sick of looking like an asshole

Cut the mullet
Cut the mullet
Cut the mullet
Cut the mullet

The mullet is the reason why people hate you
They are sick of looking at your nappy weed-sack
Nobody wants to look at you with that mullet on your head
Why don't you cut that mullet, you numbskull

Cut the mullet
Cut the mullet
Cut the mullet
Cut the mullet

12. Here's a bit of trivia about Winger
Winger's drummer was formerly of the Dixie Dregs. Everybody should do themselves a favor and check out the Dregs!

(I forget his name at the moment, sorry)

14. Rod Morgenstein
The Dregs are a blast, just great, unrestrained playing.

Steve Morse, T Lavitz (in the later incarnations), Rod and Andy West (original bassist).

13. For DU maybe, not for me
It's not my favorite type of music or anything, but there's plenty of it I like.

I like more of it percentage-wise than I like of rap percentage-wise, actually... :-)
