12. She was born April 23, 1942 so her 63rd birthday is a few months away.

edited to add information

I met Sandra Dee when I was 12. I was sent to be interviewed when the agency was looking for her replacement. I can still see her sitting at a makeup station and she certainly looked to be at least a year older than me.

I checked at http://www.astrodatabank.com/Nms_d.htm for her birthdate. Since it's an astrological site it would be the most accurate.

9. Thanks!
Now that I think about it, I somewhat hazily recall that I'd heard my mom talk about watching Gidget movies or something like that. Too bad, 63 is way too young.

19. She was always a hot topic in my home growing up
She spent her early life living next door to my Aunt in Bayonne NJ so there was a connection of sorts. I was always told her mother was really agressive in promoting her career early on. My mom followed her career pretty closely-but I guess that's pretty normal for someone you knew.
